Specialized Equipment

The equipment found here has all been especially designed for manufacture according to the methods of the Earth History Era of 1100 to 1700 AD. Strictly shipboard equipment has been designed under the restrictions of the technology that approximates the United States/Great Britians' Colonial Era, circa 1600-1700 AD. All other equipment has been designed under the criteria of the metal & woodworking techniques of the Late Middle Ages to the Early Renaissance Era.
(Begin History Lesson) However, keep in mind that archeological and historic research clearly shows some peoples were further ahead in the technology department than were the Britians and Central Europeans we mostly associate with this time period! Many of the finer metalurgy, metalworking, and glass-making methods we associate with later time periods actually were developed as early as the beginning of the Iron Age. Many of those techniques were developed, or adopted and spread by, the Celts. (End History Lesson)
