Avast, Ye Swab!
And Welcome aboard!

Know Ye this section is dedicated to the

U.S.S. Tattnall
DDG-19

And to all of us who served aboard her, from first to last.

It is offered to give others, who do not know it, a glimpse into the rugged and inglorious life of and on the " tin cans " .
It is also offered for those salts who DO know, to keep their memories of that life alive and well.

ANY man who sailed aboard Tattnall is asked and welcomed to send me his personal recollections, from the striker who scrubbed the bilges in Main Control, to the Captain who decommissioned her. Every document, letter, or picture sent me WILL BE POSTED. And any who wish to, will be included in the Ships' Muster.

This is a brand new endevour, begun 2, June, 1998, so don't expect too much. But any and all input will be welcomed and appreciated.

David W. Baumgardner, IC2
